The same token exists on several blockchains and the addresses differ in shape: TRC-20 starts with T, while ERC-20 and BEP-20 both start with 0x. That last pair does the damage, because the two formats are identical and your wallet has no way to warn you. Send USDT over BEP-20 to an address issued for ERC-20 and you will see a successful transfer on your side and a balance of zero on the casino side.
