Two different checks, often confused
Signing up to Tonza takes an email address and a password. No passport scan, no selfie, no proof of address. The only thing you are asked to confirm is the mailbox itself, and the request appears neither at sign-up nor at deposit, but before your first withdrawal.
From the outside this looks inconsistent: identity is never checked, yet something still has to be verified. In practice the mailbox solves a set of problems that has nothing to do with identity.
The mailbox is the only key to the account
When an account consists of an address and a password, access to the mailbox is effectively access to the account: it is the one channel through which the platform can reach the owner and establish that the owner is the person asking. If the mailbox is gone and no documents were ever collected, there is nothing left to check a claimant against.
The conclusion follows directly. The less a platform knows about a person, the more it matters that at least one reliable channel works. An unconfirmed address is an account with no provable owner.
What the confirmation does for the platform
- One player, one set of offers. The 200/150/100/50 welcome series across the first four deposits and the 5 USD referral credit are designed per person. Disposable mailboxes are the crudest tool of multi-accounting, and confirmation removes the crudest attempts. Terms live on the bonus page.
- A channel for money matters. Anything concerning funds or a pending request belongs with the account holder, not merely with whichever browser session happens to be open.
- A contact point for disputes. If a transaction raises questions, correspondence runs through the address attached to the account, which serves both sides.
Why the timing is the first withdrawal
While funds sit inside the account, the only person exposed is the player. The moment money leaves for an external wallet the arithmetic changes, because a blockchain transaction cannot be recalled. Every withdrawal request is reviewed by an operator anyway; a confirmed mailbox removes one of the most common reasons for that review to pause and ask.
Neither the confirmation nor the absence of document checks makes a payout instant. The request is reviewed, and the transfer that follows moves at the speed of the network you chose.
How it compares with document verification
| Email confirmation | Document verification | |
|---|---|---|
| What it proves | access to the address tied to the account | identity, age, sometimes residence |
| What the player does | clicks a link in a message | uploads scans, sometimes joins a video check |
| What the platform keeps | an email address | document copies and personal data |
| When Tonza requires it | before the first withdrawal | not applied |
Keeping access safe
- Register with a mailbox you actually use. Temporary addresses expire in days; accounts outlive them.
- Turn on two-factor authentication with your email provider — access to the mailbox is effectively access to the account.
- If the message is missing, check spam and filters before requesting it again.
- Never forward recovery links to anyone. Support does not ask for your password in any form.
- If the mailbox stops working, sort it out before submitting a withdrawal request rather than after.
If the message never arrives
Check the address for typos first, then spam and filters. After that use the on-site chat available to logged-in users, the @TonzaSupportBot bot in Telegram, or [email protected]. A general overview of the platform sits on the crypto casino page, and the in-house games with verifiable results are in the Tonza Originals section.
